Job Description

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Director of ERP to lead the strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement of its enterprise systems. This role is responsible for aligning ERP capabilities with business objectives, ensuring seamless integration across departments, and driving operational efficiency through scalable, secure, and well-adopted technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end ERP roadmap, including planning, implementation, upgrades, and optimization
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Operations, Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, etc.) to gather requirements and improve system functionality
• Manage ERP vendors, consultants, and third-party partners to ensure system performance and modernization
• Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with internal controls and policies
• Lead process optimization initiatives to streamline workflows and improve business outcomes
• Oversee ERP training, adoption, and ongoing user support
• Monitor system performance, proactively resolving issues and minimizing downtime
• Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure ERP strategy supports long-term growth and scalability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline
• Extensive hands-on experience with major ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
• Proven leadership in ERP implementations and large-scale systems projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
