Job Description
Join Paket Corporation as a Senior Electromechanical Maintenance Specialist
Picture your morning: a quick huddle on the floor, a glance at the PM dashboard, and the first production line spins up. A sensor blinks, a pump chatters—within moments, you’ve diagnosed the issue, swapped a component, and the line is humming again. That’s the rhythm of impact in this role: keep production moving, elevate equipment reliability, and help shape the way we build and run our lines.
What you will lead day-to-day
- Own uptime: Quickly diagnose and resolve equipment failures with the clear priority of keeping packaging and filling lines operational.
- Set up and reassemble production assets: Perform line changeovers, troubleshooting, repairs, and full mechanical rebuilds as needed.
- Be hands-on across trades: Fabricate, assemble, weld, burn, and cut; remove/replace motors, fuses, and cables; install conduit and pull wire.
- Run a tight PM program: Execute preventive maintenance and record activities to ensure traceability and repeatability.
- Commission and improve: Assist in installing new manufacturing equipment and contribute to machine and process design for new and existing lines using continuous improvement principles.
- Standardize and optimize: Improve and implement SOPs, line layouts, and plant design to drive efficiency and consistency.
- Compliance and readiness: Help maintain PM logbooks, keep the tool crib stocked, and support compliance with 21 CFR 210/211 for OTC manufacturing and OSHA requirements.
- Facilities support: Assist with building systems including boilers, air handling units, and HVAC equipment.
- Document for replication: Create setup sheets and forms so settings can be repeated across campaigns with consistent results.
- Tech literacy: Read and apply equipment manuals to ensure proper operation and maintenance.
- Procurement touchpoints: Generate purchase requisitions for parts and inventory when required.
- Be the go-to resource: Provide maintenance insights, answer questions, and be available outside normal hours for urgent issues like alarms or security malfunctions.
About you
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2–5+ years in a manufacturing setting with familiarity with GMPs.
- Schedule flexibility: Able to work beyond standard hours as needed. First shift runs 6 AM–2 PM; second shift runs 2 PM–10 PM. We’re especially interested in candidates open to a swing schedule covering parts of both (typically 9 AM–6 PM).
- Technical strengths: Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pumps, and production equipment.
- Team DNA: Thrive in a fast-paced, team-first culture; adaptable, collaborative, and motivated.
