Title: UX Designer

Location: Plano, TX (onsite)

Duration: 12-month W2 contract

As an Intermediate UX Designer, you will collaborate within high-performing, cross-organizational teams to enhance Member experiences. Key responsibilities include generating ideas, creating prototypes, and delivering high fidelity design solutions in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess strong skills in communication, collaboration, and facilitation, as well as proficiency in design tools. A portfolio showcasing relevant digital design experience is required.

Daily Duties

• A designer in this role is responsible for supporting the design team by defining business problems and design requirements, facilitating design sessions, collaborating with team members to break down complex problems into manageable tasks, and navigating the entire work stream from discovery through delivery. They also participate in research efforts, synthesize findings, create end-to-end member experiences, present their work effectively, and ensure compliance with risk management policies.

Requirements:

• This role requires four years of experience in Product Design or UX Design.
• Ability to apply human-centered design principles and methods to create effective solutions that align with user needs.
• A working understanding of best practices in website navigation, mobile patterns, information architecture, and usability.
• Experience designing user interfaces for responsive web and native applications (iOS, Android, etc.).
• Skilled in facilitating cross-functional sessions, collaborating with team members, and building consensus among diverse groups.

Technology:

• Proficiency in Figma. Experience working with a mature Design System. Jira experience a plus.

A designer in this role has the potential to contribute across several design teams applied to different products within a complex large-scale program in different phases of delivery.

• The candidate should be proficient in advanced Figma features such as Auto Layout
• This role does not require proficiency in executing Design Research, but candidates should have the ability to synthesize and apply Research findings throughout the Design process
